Just confident...a little c0cky even. But, it keeps people tuning in. That and he gives it all in the ring.

Honestly I think Wilder could be really good, if he fixes his jab.

The problem with his jab is he throws it too far off center mass, it tends to glance off. Combined with the way he holds his head and his at times lazy footwork, this is super dangerous.

If he started throwing his jab at his opponents upper chest and neck, and got some actual stopping power from it then Wilder could be really formidable. Right now its just too easy to slip and charge. He needs to be able to dictate distance with it.

Nascar is running late. We have to wait for this shit to finish up (15 more laps) before we get to see the last HW fight on the card.

Not a shining moment in poor Tomasz's career. :verysad He seemed embarrassed to have even been in the ring when it was over.

Yep. Except he's maybe exceeding expectations a little. It used to be "Dominic Guinn would KO him!". Now it's Povetkin, the #2 heavyweight.

No I'd still give that one to Soliman-Wade, at least this match was close and one judge was completely batchit crazy.

I still wish Tomasz had stuck it out at cruiser. Wonder how his career would have unfolded had the lure of HW paydays not taken hold of him (and, from what I used to hear, his wife).

If Breazeale had won by 96-94 on all 3 cards, it wouldn't be robbery of the year. I thought it was a draw, and the punch stats agreed.

    100-90 is totally corrupt though....

    - JCC, Jr is losing appeal after he quit in the Fonfara fight. That's what I've heard, anyways. That's not good. Not looking like the best investment by Haymon.

    - Going out on a bad note with Mayweather-Berto is probably not going to help Haymon with future Showtime/CBS negotiations. HBO was ok with Haymon for awhile, until Haymon burnt that bridge. Having Berto as Mayweather's "retirement" fight probably didn't make Haymon any new friends with Showtime.

    - Not all bad scoring is publicly televised on free network TV.

    - Wilder looks awful. And isn't he Haymon's/PBC's main "feature fighter" with Mayweather retired? This guy can't carry a promotion. He's just not good enough. He was fortunate tonight.

I'll try and keep an eye out for some of these.

I actually still never saw Floyd-Berto, yet.

And the one freakin' weekend I have off between now and Thanksgiving was the 24th, where I was very much looking forward to Wlad-Fury, and of course, that's no longer happening.
