"Switch over to NBCSN @ 11pm EST for bonus heavyweight coverage! :)"

Nearly half an hour later, still car racing..

It's disappointing. He's just not ready for this. If I were Haymon, I would be on Breland. Like "why isn't this guy improving?"

    Povetkin would decimate Wilder.

If Wilder had something like a NABF belt, I could see that. But this guy is a world champion who is, I guess, the face of a promotion. He's not at that level, at least not yet.

I'm not a huge Floyd fan but Floyd was really that good. Wilder isn't, Broner isn't, etc.

    Just no.

That's the only round I caught, and it was a very one-sided Breazeale round.

Looking forward to watching the first nine, given how everyone saw it as such a robbery.

    Tell that to a certain donut-munching, foul-mouthed Mexican-American.

Do you rank Wilder top 10? If so, what number?

Actually, Mark Breland isn't even his full-time trainer. Jay Deas is.

That's a good question. I'd have to think about that. Certainly behind Wlad and Povetkin. I haven't watched Joshua yet but from what I've heard he sounds like he's in a better spot than Wilder is at the moment.

Last round was very close if you watch it again. This was IB's RBR

So you rate him as high as 3.

    That's pretty high.

Then that is the dude who needs to get it together, I guess.

Wilder has physical talent. He's long. He is fast. He hits hard. He's got some heart. He just lacks ring savvy. He can be "that guy," maybe, but someone has to get him there.

It's like if I took some kid learning piano in high school and then told them to be the star performer of an orchestra. I just don't think Wilder has the skills to be "that guy" yet, even if he has the tools/ability to be that guy.

I'm not talking about his chin. That's a different discussion. Just the rest of his abilities.

Arreola didn't. You think Duhaupas would beat Stiverne?
