Wilder is certainly better as sloppy as he is he has cleaner punches...Wach is also a slow footed but technical better puncher,he has CRISP basic punches than either fighter you named..see when you want to play the punch technique game you will not win, those brawling small fighters who could only trade at times doesn't add up...you are oblivious to actual technique in boxing,it has passed you by.Many fighters fight just like the old timers you only know of,however the super hW's of today are much more dangerous, let me know if you've actually boxed one and maybe id take you seriously?:yep
Dont act like you have ever boxed with any kind of professional fighter. You can claim anything you want, thats the right of posting. But many of these guys in this section actually know the history of fighters and the era's. You're not one of them. Being adament and spewing BS doesnt make things true. Brush up on your knowledge before spouting off nonsense.
Are you seriously saying that Deontay wilder is a better technician than Billy conn or Jersey Joe Walcott?
You are trying to educate a cretin who seriously believes that a Klitchko, ( take your pick ) is / was faster than Ali and with better footwork. Plus the only thing he has ever boxed is kippers. You would be fool to debate with someone who seriously believes that Wach, or Wilder have a better punching technique than Joe Walcott. As for a fight between Joe L and pre exile Ali. I just don't see Joe's footwork letting him catch Ali enough times to make it count.
That's because you rate Ali as your number 1 heavy of all time and Louis as your number 3 heavy :deal
I used to spar with Yuri Vaulin when I was younger....and I do have boxing background...take a seat! :hammertime
forget sparring with Yuri, that's nothing, you have a few real boxing matches in your past don't forget you have several MMA matches coming up as well.
Come off it, technically he is not in the same stratosphere. Walcott is regarded as being one of the best technicians that the heavyweight division has produced, if not the best. There is a reason why modern technicians such as James toney study him. As for Billy Conn, he is one of the best technicians that the light heavyweight division has produced. Wilder is pretty limited technically, and if you think he is better than these guys, then you are following the wrong sport.
Im talking Hw boxing mechanics change overall with lighter fighters, are you trying to tsell me the conservative 170 pounder Conn is comparable toa the 6'7 230 pounder Wilder?:nono Wilders jab and straight punches are Technically better than Conns.
