He's definitely got something about him but his level of opposition considering the amount of fights he's had, being a world champion & multiple title defences is abysmal. Eddie needs to step up his competition because he has the skills to be right up there in the 147lb division. Very good fighter but he definitely needs to get a bit of a personality
meh he's alright, chaves fight is a huge step up, against Porter he was a snooze fest but against bums he's fun to watch.
He's not a Carl Froch level of entertainment but I do think he is entertaining. That night against Porter he wasn't entertaining but he did what he had to do, every other opponent he has faced though he has been pretty entertaining.
People think your a hater as well. I don't think Kel is a bad fighter and he is also a champion but his CV is awful
Not going to catch on with the public no matter how much Eddie Hearn talks nonsense about him. I know boxers aren't there to be Christopher Hitchens type conversationalists but Brook is so lacking in the charisma stakes I find it hard to watch any of his interviews. That can be overcome by taking on the world's best fighters instead of harmless, blown-up lightweights like Frankie Gavin or guys who've already failed several times at world level like Diego Chaves.
He's not exactly Chris Eubank (comical posturing) or Nigel Benn (x-rated aggression), but then who were.
A blown up lightweight that has never fought at lightweight and has only fought at welterweight? Nice one
He gets cut a lot of slack considering how light his resume is. Khan's level of opposition has been way higher and he gets stick.
