Favourite fight featuring a brit in the last couple of years?

    Been some great fights feat brits last couple of years, interesting to see what people's favourites are?

    For me the most enjoyable and captivating is Barker vs Geale; not only a great fight but the sixth round drama etc....

    Any others??

    froch groves 1, the build up, groves telling us what he was going to do, standing in the middle of the ring by himself compared to froch and his lackies, the first round knockdown, the round where groves was smashing froch to bits to the point of dropping his hands, only the ****ty ending spoiled it for me.

    Barker v Geale and Froch v Groves 2, as for domestic I loved seeing Curtis Woodhouse winning the British as from having come from football without amateur experience him winning a British title far and square as he did was like a world title to him.

    Recently i enjoyed Burns last performance in the states as i felt he won the fight after being given no chance!

    I've enjoyed watching DeGale turn from a bit of a laughing stock in to a world champion. He has turned it all around, he has shown real strength of character.

    So the Dirrell fight.

    There has been better action fights but watching that gave me the most joy.

    Enzo Maccarinelli - Ovil Mckenzie 2

    Enzo has been knocked out pretty badly in the past on multiple occasions which probably prompted the ref to jump in far too early at the first sign of trouble. The rematch went to prove that Enzo isnt just a walking punching bag and can still dig deep to pull out a victory in a toe to toe battle.

    Rooting for him to beat Roy Jones in russia but hope that hes getting paid a hefty amount so he can retire with his mind intact and a decent amount of money to live off, Big fan of Enzo and although I wish he could relive the glory days of the braithwaite fight I also dont wish to see such a nice guy end up as many boxers who carry on for too long do

    Also for pure entertainment value, Coyle v Brizuela. Tommy gets a lot of stick on here but he has a lot of ***** on him and is quite underrated too.

    Froch vs Bute. It was an exhilarating performance. I remember certain people being as high on Bute as they are on GGG now only for The Cobra to absolutely dominate him.

    it was a great fight that most people predicted wrong and I made a few bob on.

    I have to agree. Thoroughly enjoyed watching Woodhouse win the British, it was tough to see him in the Limond fight after that but the desire had gone and you cannot blame him. Good pro, Woodhouse. Could of went a lot further given a "normal career" turning pro and not playing football.

    Brook Porter,I always thought Brook had the talent but seemed liable to f*** it up,ask Carson Jones ,I have a theory with Ingle fighters, gifted beyond measure but more vunerable or guaranteed one totally awful fight in their career.Nelson had two or more! but dominated a division
    Doing a job on Porter in the USA was impressive and he did it in style
