Did you feel sorry for Price, Pulev and Ustinov when Fury ducked them?

Didn't his wife have a miscarriage right before the Ustinov fight too? That, plus his uncles illness, would have pushed Tyson's already precarious mental state over the edge.

 

If your going to last a long time in the boxing game at the highest level you have to have your career carefully managed, no matter how good you are. That means you can't fight everyone who calls you out, each fight must be assessed by the logic of risk and reward. Even the P4P king of boxing does this !!!

So I have no problems with what Fury has done in the past!!!

lol how did that go for tyson? a masterstroke or another stupid decision? £500k of real money to fight a small heavy that cant punch and tyson would have beat fairly easily or £5 million of fantasy money!!!! everyone knew david haye wouldnt fight tyson fury for the simple reason his ego couldnt have taken being beat by him.

fury could have beat all 3, ustinov, price and pulev but either tyson himdelf or someone in the tyson fury camp had reservations about taking on these guys and imo thats a duck.

the ustinov is really the only one that he had a real excuse for with his uncle being ill but it doesnt help his case when he he was clearly heard saying that he had been stitched up and ustinov was in shape!!

the king of the gypsy fighting man can speak a better game than he can actually bring to the ring.

 

What a load of ****e. Fury ducked Ustinov, then went out partying the next night. Yeah, really ****ing concerned about his uncle!

 

Hate to say it but it was pretty clear he used that as an excuse in the hope that no one would question him. He put his foot in it by saying 'he's in shape, I'm not fighting him', that's the real reason he pulled out, he bottled it basically.

He didnt know his uncle was ill at the weigh in.

His uncle had a routine operation that day but later on was rushed to intensive care and put in an induced coma and his family were called to be by his bedside.

Price fight never happened because Maloney said they were contracted to Sky, which they werent.

The Pulev fight didnt happen because Adam Booth offered them a fight against Wlads best win and most dangerous opponent.

 

He has subsequently said he did know, so pipe down.

Price was mandatory and Fury vacated to fight for some pointless Iirish bauble.

There was talk between the two camps but nothing came of it because Maloney lied they couldnt fight on any other channel than Sky. There is an interview with Peter Fury where he refers to Frank Maloney as Gollum.
