And Tyson would run through Klitsckos opposition like a knife through butter.

Haye wouldn't even have time for a toe excuse.

He doesn't need to worry, his reign ****es all over Tyson's already. Yeah the same could be said for Tyson against Holyfield when he had a life threatening bruised rib....

    Tubbs had talent.
Tyson deserves a lot of credit for the way he destroyed him. Tyson's absolute peak.

I wouldn't criticize Bowe too harshly for struggling with Tubbs. It was a good learning fight. Bowe was improving. It's a shame he started going backwards after the 1st Holyfield fight.

Stylewise they had alot in common.

If you really want to get technical.

Tyson also wiped the floor with Mathis whose style was even more similar to Toneys.

I think Bowes run to the title could/should have been extended a bit, maybe fight a couple of other top guys and then challenge Holyfield.

With hindsight i think winning the title ruined Bowes career.

Not for 11 straight years, he wouldn't. He'd lose, like he did against Douglas.

He was catching Tyson quite a lot in the opening round, he should look back at his professional career in shame though. Coming into fights grossly overweight at that level is unacceptable. The 80's was fully of talented yet wasted fighters.

The difference being he'd bore us all half to death doing it. That's the difference.

Style wise they weren't at all. And Mathis couldn't carry Toney's jockstrap. I'd have loved to have seen Tyson against Toney. Drugs or no drugs Toney looked very good around the time he beat Holyfield.

He may not have fought like Tubbs, but his fate and his posture on the ring floor would have been the same. I've never bought that "Toney beats Tyson" ****.

That's the modern Wlad, I'd dare say the Wlad who beat Mercer would clear them up as well. You've got to agree he looked a monster around that period, as exciting as any.

Kind of the opposite of David Haye then. All that muscle and no testicles.

I wouldn't say his posture is the same either. It's one of those fights I wouldn't put money on either fighter, Toney had amazing skills and a chin of granite.

Who brought Haye into the topic?
