    So did Larry Holmes.

And he was taller, with a longer reach and probably in better shape than Toney too.

Holyfield was perceived as old and shot when he fought Tyson.

He fought Toney nearly a decade later.

Your reasoning is way off ball as usual, Holmes fought nothing like Toney at all. You seriously believe Tyson's defeat of Holmes is massively impressive, come on he was an old man for Gods sake.

Tyson probably would get bored and lose somewhere.

However I don't see anyone on Wladmirs resume that had that kind of skillset to pull that off.

Tyson even on a bad day would ko the likes of Haye and Povetkin.

And on top of that, he'd have no Holyfield or Lewis to worry about.

As long as he keeps himself out of prison.

    2003 Toney beats 2003 Tyson

I can't see him doing well against a 1986 or even a 1996 Tyson though.

You're forgetting a few things, Toney was a blown up middleweight, Pretty damn old himself and had fought more fights than Holyfield at that time.

And James Toney was a fat midget who'd be in Tysons firing range throughout the fight.

Why do you think Douglas, Holyfield and Lewis kept Tyson at arms length?

Ffs James Toney was taken to school by Sam Peter.

Peter even mocked Toney by hitting him with triple jabs and then did an Ali shuffle in the 12th round.

I was referring to a more capable version of Tyson.

Toney would probably beat Tyson of 03, its nothing impressive, even Danny Williams pulled it of.

Toneys body had nowhere near the wear and tear of Holyfield.

Nah, He was beaten by Tyson, then went back to wining until Lewis, who had him down twice, Tyson couldn't knock him over.

Also its hilarious how you Tyson freaks claim that guys suddenly take up drug use in their late 20's early 30's.:rofl:rofl

And that suited Toney to the ground being up close, Tyson must be his brother then if you're calling Toney a midget. Holyfield kept Tyson at arms length?? Think I must have seen another fight to you.

And I find it funny that you cant seem to understand that a fighter can decline in 6 years.

Yet they conveniently forget that a lot of his defences were drug addicts and alcoholics around the time Tyson fought them.
