I believe Kovalev destroys all. Froch and Kessler would have be exciting for however long it lasted.

Kovalev loses to Rodriguez, Kessler, Froch, Abraham, Bika, Smith, and Pudwill.

Here I thought according to many of you Ward would school Kovalev, well in theory shouldn't some of Ward's biggest wins have a shot at toppling the Krusher too.:conf

Triangle theory doesn't work. Just because Kovalev might beat these opponents in a more convincing manner doesn't mean anything. Also you must remember that Kovalev is a full 175lber, Ward is a small 175lber if he was to fight there full on. You cannot compare the two's opponents against each other. Ward fought 168lbers so it would be unfair to bring Froch and Kessler hypothetically to 175 where they'd be less effective for obvious reasons.

Most of these fighters could easily make 175 and possibly have a degree of success there, after all Stevenson the lineal Champion is a blown up SMW. And of course triangle theories don't always work but they do provide a small amount of circumstantial evidence as to how a potential match may play out.

I'd would have to say that he beats all of them at the moment based on how Kovalev has looked in 2014-2015. Dawson and Green wouldn't last 4 rounds. Prime Tarver and Froch would give him a tough fight.

Well bulking up 7 pounds is pretty easy but the consequences of it in a Boxing point of view can be huge. Yeah a very small amount of evidence of a potential match up. Nobody Ward has fought and beat fights anywhere like him and therefore could not be used by Kovalev as "preparation" for it so this exercise is pointless in my opinion. Hopkins is probably the closest guy to Ward at this weight area and even then, Ward and Hopkins are very very different fighters.

Did Ward look fat or out of his division during the weigh in and the night of the fight against Paul Smith.

You're right Hopkins is the most similar to Ward on Kovalev's resume only he has a far better chin, and what were the scorecards again.... oh yeah that's right.....120-107 x 3, but since Ward is a little trickier than Hopkins I do think Ward might win 2 or 3 rounds off of Kovalev before being KTFO.

On the one hand Hopkin was 50

On the other 50 year old B Hop has x100 the chin of Ward

Not that it matters. Ward is cut from the Mayflower cloth and will avoid Sergey like the plague
