Forget Mayweather as an ATG he screwed up his own career & his legacy. He had the natural boxing talent to take him to the very top . If only he'd had belief in himself he really could have bee one of TBE. Instead for reasons known only to himself he took the cherry picking route only fighting opponents he knew he could beat. He also had the backing of the State Commission , his drug testing agency & Vegas officials backing him to ensure victory May 2 certainly put a big dark cloud over his career All the evidence seems to prove likely PED's abuse. He got caught receiving an ILLEGAL saline drip in his own home in secret. Now we must ask How many times has he done this before ?? How many TUE's was he given because of irregularities??? How can a Commission accept an application for a TUE 8 days after it was illegally administered & grant it & still hold credibility I firmly believe that had Mayweather not been caught red handed NOTHING would have ever been publicised about TUE's As far as I'm concerned the whole rats nest of corruption needs sorting out. Thankyou I've been called a Mayweather hater many times but I don't hate him I actually feel sorry for him. He really could have been ranked up there with Ali Robinson etc . Its his own fault he's not He chose the path he took , for whatever reasons he had. Now with this stain of his legacy too that is all gone He'll never be regarded as an ATG But outside the ring I still think he's an obnoxious cowardly woman abuserthat could never change
I don't disagree, I have been reviewing some of his fights lately and I have to say I am more impressed than when I first started watching him. But my point was Ali had hardly anyone on his resume and a highly controversial win over Liston when he started saying he was TBE unlike Mayweather who had some of the greatest fighters of the last 20-30 years on his resume before he started toting TBE around.
