Yep. The first fight Groves threw everything he could at Froch and still couldn't get the job done, and despite the early stoppage I think Groves knew he was in big trouble.

Dave Boy Green, a stalwart fighter from my youth on BBC Sports Night, just unlucky he came up against a future atg in Leonard.

I was certain Sibson was going to beat Hagler in 83 or run him close, had seen him smash up Minter and various other dudes. Hagler just cut him up into a messy pulp. I recall film theatres had the fight live on satellite, even though I was at school. Anyway, prime Sibson would have smashed that Chudinov guy last night, just my rose tinted view.

Totally agree Sibson would of taken apart a guy like Chudinov.Sibson always good to watch and came up short in the wrong era.

Sibson always enjoyed watching him but I never thought he would run Hagler close tbh he put in a brave performance against an ATG 160lb champion,no shame in that.Sibson style wise made for Hagler as a come forward fighter.

He never "won" the belt and beat the man, so no, you're wrong.

Martin Murray should have been world champion and I think he might just finally get there at Super Middle.

Jamie Moore is another that I think should have been given the chance earlier but wasted too long at domestic level and that in the end hurt him on the world stage.

George Groves should have been World champion imo but he still has time to get back on the road and will defo get a version of a World Title at some point.

How do you "win" a belt by drawing?
