Well for one he'd had many more fights, he was fighting 4 weight divisions above his natural fighting weight plus he was like you said a walking Buddah....

Question, why was Holyfield the betting favourite then?

Because Holyfield was simply the better fighter.

Larry Merchant's post fight comment went something like this, "Tony Tubbs ended up being another fat bug splattered on the windshield of Mike Tyson's career!"

I have no knowledge, or for that matter not much interest of the demographic of Murican inner cities, but it would be interesting to see how many Murican fighters come from what they call the " projects " of inner cities, and also the percentage of those same project dwelling young males that have substance abuse issues.

Yet these fools would have you believe that " only " poor little Mikey had booze and drug issues as an 18 - 21 year old. All of his opponents before Douglas only started to have these problems after they fought him, when they were fast approaching 30.

In further news from cloud cuckoo land, Hitler was actually a nice chap. He was just misunderstood.:roll:

Didn't Lennox Lewis feed on these same crackheads.

I wont even bring up Oliver Mcall.

A nice quip but Tubbs went on to give Norris, Bowe, Ferguson and Seldon all they could handle and more.

It was a very good win for Mike

never thought much of Tubbs but the way Mike finished him it was a quick victory. For the most part Tyson handled the leftovers from the Holmes era but more mature and seasoned versions, still Rudduck and Spinks may have been his best names. He demolished Thomas but it was a post prime Thomas. He also demolished Berbick

    You are severely discrediting Povetkin.

Povetkin would give Tyson serious problems if he didn't take him seriously.

Heck, Wlad's last opponent, Bryant Jennings could pull a Douglas on Tyson.

I completely agree. Tubbs had talent. His only loss prior to facing Tyson was a split verdict to Spoon. Some haters on here think Tyson ducked Spoon, which is hilarious.

And here is me thinking that a fantasist like you would have had all the answers about Murican demographics. Whats up, too difficult for you to invent, as you usually do?

You fit in well with the other numpty's like Asser and their pathetic revisionist shyte about Tyson being the only fighter of the 80's and 90's with " problems ":roll:
