The referee made the right call by ruling it a slip. Wilder was not hurt at all.

I've been telling people for years, Wilder's chin is better than advertised. He took Stiverne's best punches and laughed like "that's all you got?" Provodnikov style.

    Povetkin is screwed.

The most embarrassing aspect about that 'fight' is the fact that Wilder actually showboated against that obese sack of whale blubber. There is literally nothing that can ever be said to excuse or justify him doing that against such an abysmal and grotesquely overweight opponent. What on earth was he thinking? :patsch

Everyone with eyes can see he was dropped heavily. Duhaupas can't punch half as hard which is why Wilders team hired him

This is a typical flash knockdown. Yes Wilder wasn't badly hurt but the fact is he was knocked down. This was NOT a slip. He went down after being hit by a punch. That by definition is a knockdown.

His show boating in general is distasteful and comes off as ****-like, one of the reasons I started really disliking him.

If Dustin 'The Worm' Nichols went through a grueling camp and lost 5 lbs (all the way down to svelte) he would wipe up the ring with Wilder.
