MMA fighters are often kickboxers / muay thai fighters, and have access to an ****nal of striking techniques that a boxer does not. A good thai fighter can do horrible things to you in a clinch. A good kickboxer will attack the legs; unconditioned legs do not stand up well to low kicks especially if the target does not know how to defend against them.

An MMA guy trying to box a boxer is an idiot and deserves to lose.

Skip Bayless is a entertainer more than he is a ****yst. The guy is a emotional basket case when it comes to sports.

Regardless, I have always been for the MMA dude when it comes to a boxing dude stepping into a MMA cage and I always will be the MMA dude in MMA match ups. EXCEPT for "extreme" match ups such as say bantam weight champ vs lets say a prime Tyson.

If Ronda can close distance on Floyd and get hold of him I would bet she would finish him.

The only thing that would worry me is "IF" Floyd was fast enough to keep running and pot shotting Rousey and RR was not fast enough to close distance without getting tagged. I have seen Ronda get tagged closing distance against a few girls already and it did look as if she momentarily got STUNNED. It didn't turn out to matter but against a guy as fast as Floyd it may actually matter.

To me when Couture fought Toney I was 100% in for Randy as we all know how fast he closes distance. Ok I probably sound like a total ***ist but I promise you I would be happier than you if RR pounded out Floyd in a MMA match, trust me, I don't like Floyd. However, the guy is FAST, world class fast. When compared to Ronda that is a extreme type of factor. Even a guy like TJ Dillshaw I would take over Floyd as that dude can close distance like he has been shot out of a shotgun.

All I am saying is I don't think its impossible that while trying to close distance on Floyd he lands a few pot shots that stun Ronda and in those seconds after she is tagged possibly he lands a bigger shot that puts her down and out. Why? again, I am not meaning to be ***ists, but the SPEED factor being so much in favour of Floyd. Whereby other MMA boxer match ups have really not had such a large difference in overall SPEED.

Regardless, it should never happen, lol, it would be the worst thing I think. Fighting is already a messed up enough type of sport, lets not make it between the ***es :smoke
