DeGale really ought to win this and should be the heavy favorite, but there is the chance this becomes a "trap" fight for him...

    :yep

Will be the favourite, no questions asked. Southpaw vs southpaw, Bute throws a lot of lefts to the body... see the Magee fight with all the knockdowns, although DeGale is levels above Magee.

I hope you're wrong! I'm a Bute fan and wish he wins, but this fight will be a hard one for him.

didn't Bute have a hard time making 168 for the Froch fight? how much will cutting weight affect his game these days?

He did ya, his last fight was at 171, now he's aiming for 168.

Hopefully it won't affect him much.

    Alvarez-Chilemba on the undercard.
    Winner gets Stevenson apparently

I think DeGale-Stevenson would be an interesting fight. Do you think he could win?

    Interesting fight.
Degale jumping straight up would be interesting.

Reckon he'd have a good shot

DeGale is awkward enough to give Stevenson some trouble.

Degale is a very dangerous fighter. Extremely awkward and unpredictable. Bute is going to have his confidence at 100% to even par up to him. Problem is that Degale is a good finisher when he knows his opponent is hurt, so at 168, Bute's punch resistance might be questionable and it might show in this fight especially with a good hitter like Degale.

Bute is def the underdog. He will have to man up hard to win this one. I'll be surprised if he wins, and happy!
