Yeah, it makes it that much more ridiculous of a duck, doesn't it? Ducking a guy you know you can easily KTFO? Ha.
qullin is a bum lol He has admitted many times on interviews he is scared of golovkin and he has to feed his children LOL
You can't look at it in retrospect and say "Oh he didn't duck him because that guy lost afterwards", that's stupid logic. You have to look at it from that point in time, Korobov was quite hyped/feared because of his amateur credentials.... It's not out of realms of possibility that Quillin genuinely ducked him, heck he's been protected for much of his career.
Honestly though, I was hyped about Quillin as well at one point, up until about the Rosado fight. Shame he didn't turn out as good and that Haymon protects him so shamelessly as well.
He's good, and has the right stuff to be in exciting fights. I'm looking forward to the Jacobs fight. Personally, I think Haymon's coddling of Quillin wrecked his image. Some of the interviews he gives doesn't help. I may joke about that aspect of it from time to time, but it's mainly because it's frustrating to see a world-class caliber fighter (which I consider Quillin) handled with kid gloves like I've seen the last few years.
He's not a bum. Bums don't win titles at the world level they lose way before that. In my opening post of this thread I said it was time to start taking him serious this was when he was a contender. I didn't call him the second coming. I have also bashed him for not facing GGG just like I have bashed others for not doing the same. With that said I was spot on with this thread from when I created it.
