A prime Holyfield battling it out against Bowe in the early 90's and a passed it, beefed up Holyfield battling Lewis in the late 90's. Did Evander ever confess to who was the better fighter? Who hit harder? Please provide links and videos if you can find them!

He didn't appear to have much respect for Lewis. He even picked Tyson to beat Lewis in 2002.

He said Bowe was the best fighter he fought. Can't post links yet, just type this into the youtube search bar:

HOLYFIELD TALKS THE BEST FIGHTER & THE HARDEST PUNCHER HE FACED IN HIS CAREER (DONTAESBOXINGNATION)

I remember that interview. Holyfield felt Lewis couldn't fight the kind of fight Holyfield did against Tyson.

His words were 'Lewis cant bend in the breeze, he just breaks' Dunno if he was referring to Lewis chin there.

Holyfields attire was memorable too. A purple shirt with a leopard skin waistcoat.

I don't think either Tyson nor Holyfield rate Lewis.

The Holyfield who fought Lewis would have been harder to k.o anyway you look at it.

Fighters always tend to rate other fighters that they hold a win over as "better". Just sayin'

Ok I have seen this before. Here's the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NV3Z4f1uv-c

Foreman hit him the hardest. Bowe was the best he fought. And when asked if Tyson had power Holyfield responds with, "Well, I didn't get hit with Mike's bombs."

Yeah, why is that? Is it the bitterness of losing to Lennox? Is it because he is British? Or is it because they didn't like his sue happy approach to getting title shots?

Probably because he beat them both

Lewis is to Holyfield and Tyson what Calzaghe was to Jones and Hopkins.

you are referencing an old video...the newer one clearly says he did not know if foreman hit him harder or not, becuase he was used less movement in the 91 fight.

Lou duva had had specific trainers come in and put more mass on holyfield from 205 to 215/220...obviously the smarter bigger Holyfield would have been harder to k.o after 91. He also had a strong game plan fior Lewis and stuck with it,not so much against Bowe, with holyfield also having Steward in the second fight he won,a smart holyfield is tough for anyone, even Lewis who was Holyfields biggest oppenet and most heftiest compared to him .

Duva knew at 205 holyfield simply was not as effective.

On Holyfield saying on Tyson @ 3:50
