He's competitive in any era and would be dangerous. He'll prove this in his next two fights.

    "a bit better"?

Harrison has 7 losses on his record.

He has about 15 better wins than Harrison's best win.

    Agreed.

But how many people bother to consider lateral movement in the scheme of things? They think all heavy's have identical footwork and mobility and everything is equal with their opponent. No advantage or disadvantage so it's a non-issue. And of course, eveyone's defense is identical except for about 3 heavies the last 100 years.

Only punching power is used for comparison's of fighters, and for some reason, that is the be all and end all of arguments.

Back to the real world & Povetkin...

I think he's pretty good. Not great and certainly not poor. Kind of like a Jimmy Ellis type that might win a few but is definately up there with the elite heavies. Can he give a good account of himself? Sure. Win? that's another story. I think he fits right in with those 80's heavies that blew hot and cold, aside from Holmes and Tyson.
    You know...Page/Berbick/Tubbs/Witherspoon/Coetzee/Dokes/and so on.

The other big subtraction I see with Alex is the guy has been through a million trainers. That's never a good thing & there's a reason why he changes often. Ever see much in the way of top production from the heavies that constantly change their corner? How about lots of title defenses by those guys---just how many manage to ever do that?

hes a bit better, nothings changed.

pov best win is old chageav, which is one of wlads worst wins. and wlads best defence is worse than lewis worse defence, for some perspective.

I wouldn't say Byrd/Haye are worse than Botha, Akinwande, or a completely shot Tyson.

that is the first timer I seen that, and I ave to agree, wlad can no longer be champion, by DQ. his reign ended with the Pov fight.

wlad should have retired before this fight.

Then why did Lewis get knocked out twice by one punch?

Wlad's defense has been able to hold off any one punch KOs in 67 fights.

oh you want to add to the corrie sanders shot2shyte club so that I can ask exactly why wlad was defending against someone in such poor form.

be my guest, kliturd self destructs once again.

because he tries to make defences against decent opposition.

obviously, btw, not shor2shyte retirees (and still get pasted out by them in seconds).

He's a very good fighter....but a little slow. I'd say good boxers with quick feet and good lateral movement take him down. Guys like Ali and Lewis would eat him up. I think (young) Tyson wins. I don't see him winning vs Holyfield.

But he beats a lot of other guys on the list.

So Rahman was worthless when he fought Sanders, became "decent" when he KTFO Lewis, then became shyte again when he fought Wlad?

    Have I got it right?

Turdster eats his own turds, again.

    no one claimed that.

so why did you write it? Are you seriously trying to pretend you are winning an argument by inventing a non-existent one and then shouting "yeh i'm right about this!"
    WHY?

why u talking about yourself again, bearing in mind what you wrote above?
