You need to deal with the fact that you said that Rahman wasn't even a top contender when he fought Sanders, then he was 'decent' when he fought Lewis and then he was terrible when he fought Wlad. :blood

Your argument that the 28 years old Rahman who fought Lewis and the 36 years old Rahman who fought Wlad was of the same calibre is incorrect and that is what I took issue with. Rahman was carrying nearly 20 lbs of surplus weight when he fought Wlad ,and he was a late sub when Povetkin pulled out.

 

He does most things competently but nothing exceptionally well.

My problem is that you try and twist the facts into your standard Turdster standpoint of "anything Klitschko related sucks". I would personally say that Rahman of the Sanders/Lewis fights was more or less equivalent, yet the moment Sanders is involved he becomes downplayed. Why? Because Sanders beat Klitschko and therefore in your warped Turdster opinion, the suckiness must ooze like osmosis down the chain.

He was not a top 10 fighter at that time , nor was he a top contender. Being ranking by one governing body does't make one a top contender.

People seem to forget that Povetkin was a joke and a figure of ridicule before he fought Wlad.

A paper champ. The Michelin man. The Pillsbury doughboy. A guy who got the chit beaten out of him be a crude Cruiser with zero HW fights.

Likely beats some of the very worst lineal champions and a good number of fragment holders in eras where this is applicable.
