    Lock Stock Promotions will be having a press conference tomorrow at 10.30am at Bochadillo, Sauchiehall st, Glasgow.
    This will be to announce the companies first promotion which will be held on the 27th November at the Bellahouston Sports Centre, a line up of top fighters will be in attendance who have signed with Lock Stock and who will be appearing on the first show,
    The promotion company will be fronted by Willie Limmond, who will ensure that the boxers come first all the time, very exciting times for Scottish boxing lay ahead.

    That's good news, Willie is a true boxing man and I'm sure he will use his experience with managers/promoters to ensure his fighters are well looked after!

    Are you involved with it Billy? If you are, all the best.

    As with MGM Scotland, it's good to have another player in Scotland putting on shows and mixing it up a little.

    Any word on who has signed?

    All the fighters will be announced tomorrow, some very top sought after boys have signed

    must be your boys then!! lol

    good luck to willie, i remember him trying this when he was boxing and it didn't work out the best but he is older and wiser now.

    does that mean that willie has retired?

    Willie hasn't retired he should still be British and commonwealth champ he's not lost them in the ring?
    No tv as yet

    He last defended the commonwealth and won the British over 15 months ago, so no he shouldn't still be the champ of either!

    i agree but didn't he give them up so others could fight for them because of injury? and because he was chasing the european title?

    i believe he gave up the commonwealth to try and get the euro and the British with a promise to fight the winner, however that fight was a draw, there having a rematch

    All bar a couple,one of Scotland's top amateurs and IMO a very exciting prospect

    As good as their intentions will be, the success of any promotional outfit is purely dependent on TV, sadly.

    Am looking forward to hearing who they've signed and what they've got planned however.

    why would you imply that, I just saying the boxers will be well looked after by willie and the promotional team
