We haven't seen enough of Tyson Fury to really say how long he'd last against Mike Tyson. He'd lose, and probably inside the distance. But whether he goes out in 1 round or could last longer, even 10 or 12, we don't know.
Hehe As a big fury fan, I'd say mike would finish fury in 3-4 rounds. I would say the 1foot height difference and 15ich reach advantage could keep Fury save for the first few rounds.
Not that it means much but McBride has the same measurements as Fury. And people forget, Tyson WAS winning that fight until he couldn't be bothered to get up.
Fury might prove to be an excellent clincher/survivor when he's in real trouble though. His chin seems to be weaker than a Mitch Green but he might prove to be even more of an octopus, and at 6'9 and 260 pounds he might drain away some of Mike Tyson's ferocious sharper attack and hang around for a few rounds taking a beating. I suspect Fury has heart enough. On the other hand, 1st round KO wouldn't surprise me at all either.
Then well have another Tyson Smith type fight. Furys good don't get me wrong, I believe he would have beaten Vitali a couple of years ago and hell tear through Wlad.
Iron Mike Tyson (Rooney trained and managed) would easily completely destroy Fury within the first three minutes. Mike has the perfect style to beat Fury...smaller with great head movement, he would marinate Fury's body with 5 or 6 hooks, then come up top with the coup de grace. The first punch to the chin puts Fury down, he gets up (I'll give him that) but gets KO'd into Bolivian immediately. There's no other outcome. Think Peter McNeeley, or Lou Savarese both of which are POST ROONEY.
