When a close relative, suddenly said to me that Rocky Martinez would give Mayweather all he could handle.

I could not bring myself to even tell him they weren't even in the same weight class let alone attempt to make him understand that there isn't any remote similarity in level or class.

When has someone you loved or respected said something so inane you were left shocked or speechless?

I made sure to educate my family and friends on Ronda. She is a total hypejob. The general public legitimately believes she can beat male prize fighters though :rofl

Pretty smart on Dana White's part though. He is essentially commercializing a symbol of feminism.

My friend told me pacquiao would beat Mayweather Jr. and so did his father ... I enjoyed their facial expression changing from hope to despair while the fight occurred :)

I know somebody who thinks Paulie would beat almost every fighter out there and would give EVERYONE a very, very tough 50/50 fight at worst.

People who thought Pacquiao won on May 2nd. I've never encountered any in life other than the forums, but still.

When people say things like, "Tyson would KO Mayweather." Not because it is incorrect but because of how silly such a thought is to anyone who has followed boxing for more than 36 minutes of viewing.

I only really know a couple people who know anything about boxing. And I wouldn't talk with them about it unless they had some semblance of knowledge or rationale. You know how that goes. All the sports fans who don't follow boxing might chime in with something related to Mayweather or Pacquiao but people really don't care, know about, or watch boxing at all up here in Washington so that's to be expected.
