I know it by being coached and competing in boxing for 15 years in my youth. You are only trolling based on youtube. Speed punches are jab and lead right hand. everything else has more complex parts of the sweet science in their making.
Wlad is not overly a copmbo puncher,throwing more combos does not make you faster.You just don't get it!
Both are fast..overall wlad is just faster.One fight of example is not enough,i gave vid evidence in his training and on film as well as others regarding his speed....can you find any Briggs speed mentions? :-(

He likes to throw slow jabs and surprise his opponents by mixing them up with fast ones. And he definitely not like to showboat his tremendous speed.

Being a fringe contender has nothing to do with if you punch fast? He probably has the strongest jab ever while he stands flat footed against stationary target, but the speed does not compare to Holmes or Ali jabs they threw while they were dancing in the ring.
