Unfortunately it is very hard to deal with the ignorance of those groups of fans.

Just because people want to see unification fights at middleweight, doesn't mean that they don't want to see Golovkin fighting Ward. However, it obviously makes more sense to conquer your own weight class rather than to move up and take on of the best, if not the best at 168 (remember both Canelo and Ward are testing waters at CWs before moving up to another division).

Those fans choose to ignore that it's not Golovkin who positions himself according to Ward's career. Just because Ward can't stay at 168 much longer, doesn't mean that Golovkin should cancel his current plans and go for Ward.

If Golovkin wants take clean out the best at MW, he is absolutely allowed to do that regardless of saying that he would fight anyone 160-168 (after all, top MWs are still within 160-168 range, and Ward is not the only SMW who called for GGG fight, Dirrell and Abraham did that too).

Also, Ward should not act like he's cleaned out SMW. He only has one belt which could be stripped from him very soon, and there are champions calling him out like DeGale, and also other champs and top fighters that he hasn't defeated like Dirrell and Jack. Not to mention that Ward got stripped of his Ring/Lineal title with Ring now being vacant at 168.

However, despite all that, certain fans still want GGG-Ward to take priority over everything else because most of them are motivated by we know what.

It almost reads as though you think Golovkin is aiming to be only the second ever undisputed middleweight in history. He won't be - even if he does unify WBA/WBC/IBF/WBO titles.

Golovkin will be the third person to hold 'the four' unified middleweight titles since 1988, when the WBO was inaugurated. Note: Jermain Taylor, whilst not going about the business of having the unification bouts, won all four titles from Bernard Hopkins.

Prior to that, there have been easily over a dozen undisputed Middleweight Champions since the WBC was formed in '63.

Also - referring to Ward as "a useless excuse for a boxer" comes across as a bit childish. Ward has arguably achieved more in less pro bouts, at a younger age, than Golovkin.

I think you'll find that Ward has fought four times in the last four years, which included wins over Froch and Chad Dawson. Regardless... ...inactivity is no reason to be so derogatory about a Boxer, who is a consensus pound-for-pound top-5.

Why do people claim that GGG will be the 2nd boxer to hold all 4 belts? Are people forgetting about Jermain Taylor?

Jesus Christ, the bummyluvkin fans really don't know **** about boxing.

The Super 6 was created for Abraham and Kessler to be turned into stars you ****ing dummy. Both of them wanted to come to America to be showcased and become bigger stars. Ward was seen as a throw in to the Super 6 he was given no chance as was Froch. The favorites going into the Super 6 were Abraham and Kessler fool but you wouldn't know this because you weren't even watching boxing back then but I was.:deal Kessler-Ward was supposed to be Kessler's coming out party to the American public, and walk over against Ward and become a star but it went horribly wrong because Ward had other plans and the rest is history much to your dismay.:hi: So get your facts straight **** boy before going off half ****ed because I have mine straight.:deal

    Truth will out.

I expect Ward to have major contests and probable success at 175.

I think Golovkin will continue to do well at 160 and he too has important matches to take on there.

Short of rebutting OTT viewpoints of Golovkin Fanatics, I have no probelm with Golovkin the Boxer - I actually like Golovkin, who does the sport credit. I will enjoy watching the respective careers of both he and Ward.

If it's @160 no problem but if they want to fight @168 I'm against it at the moment because i want to see Golovkin unifying the belts @160 first

If Golovkin beat's Lemieux he should go for the Cotto/Alvarez winner maybe even @ 157 CW
There is also the possibility of a fight with Eubank Jr in europe or even a possible Mayweather fight @154

If he moves up to 168 now for the Ward fight it might be difficult for him to move down again to 160 or 157 for Cotto or 154 Mayweather

The Ward fight can still happen at the end of 2016

Ward has also some big other options like Kovlaev, Stevenson, Jack or Bute/DeGeale winner

Ward-GGG does much better numbers than GGG-Lemieux Lemieux best win is Rosado FFS he lost to Rubio:lol: And I like Lemieuix but don't try to make him out to be more than he is. Don't try and make it out as if this fight will do better numbers than GGG against an elite fighter like Ward.

P4P does mean something you couldn't be more wrong it means a lot to boxers, fans and historians. Just because you say it means nothing doesn't make it so. People to this day have a top 100 P4P list.

Lastly, if all it means is what you do in the ring then GGG has already lost. His resume is littered with B-&C- fighters he's yet to fight someone of note in over 30 fights.:rofl On the other hand what Ward has done in the ring surpasses GGG easily. So by your logic you're admitting Ward>GGG:hi:

These Bummyluvkin fans seriously don't know **** about boxing. The tournament was made for Ward? Ward was a green unknown prospect before the tournament. The man was only known for a gold medal and beating a shot blown up Miranda.

Kessler(the tournament favorite and champion) was so confident in a win that he willingly fought Ward in Oakland instead of Denmark.

Every advantage?:roflThe guy wasn't even given a chance in the tournament many people on this very site wondered why he was even included and gave him no chance. Abraham and Kessler were the favorites in the Super 6.:deal

If the Super 6 is Ward';s legacy then what is GGG's? GGG's whole legacy is beating up no hopers C- fighters saying he'd fight anyone 168-154 and ducking Ward at 168 while agreeing to fight lesser fighters at 168 like Froch and JCC Jr while he and his fans make excuses any time Ward's name is mentioned.:deal Ward's legacy is light years beyond GGG's no comparison can be made.
