    According to Boxing Leaks...
What do you do when investors hand over 300 million dollars to Haymons PBC?
Well, for starter he has bought not one but two private planes-both registered to Haymon Sports,LLC
    then
Continue to pay sanctioning fees to the various Boxing Organizations but remain un-named during the PBC broadcasts
    and
Waddell&Reed(the investment firm)show their media group holdings division has lost 27.5% of it's initial face value and PBC has burned through 143 million dollars to date.
I still ask the question-what is the end game and how does this brand recoup it's stunning spending free for all?

My question is why do you care? You don't like him or his fighters so why do you care?

Charming intellectual response by an under educated individual who has no idea whom I am nor what I do.You may be most surprised.
The question still remains and I shall await a thoughtful response, thank you.

This model is unsustainable and PBC fans need to pull their head out of sand. What cannot go on forever will not, it's simple algebra.

PBC in its current format, purses and payouts will only work until Haymon has money, then:

    1. He has to pack up and leave, out of business.
    2. Corner the market, create monopoly, start charging networks to pay for his shows, lower fighters' purses etc
    3. Request more money from financial backers/pope francis/Obama and keep the gravy train going.

    Pick one.

Even if you were Bob Arum the fact remains true, but you aren't. You're a nobody so the fact is you are irrelevant, and have no right to question the great Al Haymon, the wizard of boxing. :hi:

Not having answered the question, which may be confusing for you-I shall answer yours.
I care because I am curious and do not have an answer to this perplexing issue, and that is, how does one recoup the outlandish spending which shall certainly exceed 300 million dollars by the end of next spring? The ratings are nothing to write home about and the sponsorship is negligiable and the paid tickets are luke warm at best. All reports I have read by journalists can't figure it out nor can I.
While it is true I don't like the PBC model nor most of the fighters they hi-lite on their broadcast offerings, this has nothing to do with that.It is a financial question, period. The name of any game when investing is RETURN ON INVESTMENT.

I know one thing, I wouldn't have paid Broner $1 million for his last fight.

Fatcity - The end game has to be to make as much money as possible and also as fast as possible, and leave the game when it comes crumbling down. Thereafter, there all going to filled for bankruptcy and go on to their next venture. Thats my thought. A lot of people want to talk about how Haymon is changing the boxing game, this and that but in reality, I see a train wreck in the near future with his company.

And as said before, love them or hate them, Don King and Bob Arum gave us the best fights cards in the last 40 years. Haymon has not even come close to putting a decent card together as of yet. So "great" he is not. He may have been great at putting concerts together but boxing cards, NO!
