Oh so a while back. Gotcha.

I thought Kovalev hit harder than Golovkin, but after reading all those quotes...I'm kind of changing my mind.

Boone quotes will likely be published today by Steve Kim, who "interviewed both Darnell Boone and Dereck Findley, both very tough, hard individuals. Good guys" yesterday.

It's the first time Boone spoke about GGG.

I know. I've read and listened to a lot of his interviews and he's never mentioned sparring Golovkin. That's why I assumed he must've sparred him for this fight.

Yeah I'm not arguing one way or another. It's just that Boone is on record saying that Kovalev is the hardest puncher he's fought and that now after sparring Golovkin he's saying that he felt Golovkin's punches more with big gloves on than he did Sergey's with smaller ones on.

I wonder how hard Beterbiev hits. Isn't he considered by some as the hardest puncher in amateur boxer history?
I know some say, well it took Sergey 3 rounds to KO Campillo and Artur took 4 rounds, but if that were the case then Browne hits harder tthan both.

Artur has similarities in terms of style to GGG. I wouldn't mind seeing Artur training in Big Bear, so he could become a stalker like GGG. How do you guys see his cutting off the ring? I didn't think he did it that well against Page, he was just chasing him imo. I thought he was rushing against Page though, he seemed to like the fan attention and probably wanted to give them a quick KO and instead he ended up looking a little bad in the first round. He could learn a lot from GGG imo. Not sure how much I trust Marc Ramsay or whatever his name is.

Sidenote: Am I the only one that feels HBO are about to screw Sergey? HBO definitely LOVES Ward and I get the feeling this will end bad for Sergey. Also, Sergey not having a great promoter won't help his cause.

Bull**** he's standing there getting punched by GGG in sparring taking his hardest shots pretty much flush so of course its going to hurt and I take it he didn't get KO'd by GGG, as opposed to him running for his life stumbling all over the ring in mortal fear trying his hardest to not get brutally KO'd by Kovalev in 2 rounds. Unfortunately for Boone he didn't make it.:!:

So Darnell is full of s*** Abel is paying him to say that. Like he does other fighters. I love GGG but this is getting ridiculous now. Kovalev clearly hits harder.

And of course Abel and Kovalev don't like each other very much and Kovalev has let that be known, Sanchez would have no motivation to pay off Boone to say that would he?

Kovalev hits harder he hits damn hard even at 175 only a fool would believe that 160 pound GGG hits harder than Kovalev. If he hits that hard then why is he not wanting to get into the ring with Ward at 168?

Yes he was, he was dropped by Khomitsky and he almost stopped by him in the 6th round of their first fight.

Regardless Murray wouldn't make it past the 3rd against the Krusher.
