And how would Kovalev know how hard he hits, is his favorite past time punching himself in the face as hard as he possibly can.:nut

And you ducked my Murray counter.:deal

People have said the same thing about Kovalev. Kovalev is already a big puncher plus he's a bigger man. Do you really think GGG hits harder?

Kovalev is physically stronger maybe but as what I have heard so far GGG hits just as hard if not harder

see the amount of fighters he fought in the ring and sparring partners who have fought kovalev as well many of them light heavyweights and heavyweights and for them to say they got hit by many light heavyweights and heavyweights but GGG is the hardest hitter this says a lot

I could definitely see Kovalev doing that to pass the time of day.

These much bigger guys are surprised by his power because they're much bigger than him. If he was 175 sparring these same guys they wouldn't be saying that.

I don't believe GGG hits harder than Kovalev, Kovalev is knocking out dudes at 175, I'm sorry but I can't see GGG doing the same to the extent that Kovalev has.

So I guess that means he's KO'd them all in sparring. They're standing there taking his shots and going more than one round with him and the last time I checked he didn't KO them all, so they might be exaggerating to build his legend.

Abel Sanchez is a bull**** artist who most likely pays fighters to hype the hell out of GGG, especially when it comes getting a jab in on Sergey, they hate each other.

'Ola Afolabi said to Sky Ringside “I think it’s going to be a knockout. The guy [Golovkin] hits incredibly hard. I’ve been in the ring with heavyweights, cruiserweights, light heavyweights, and I get in the ring with this kid and every time he hits me, I say whoa!''

Ryan Coyne (former CW now LHW)

''He’s a f__king beast,” said Coyne, a 20-0 cruiserweight prospect who has recently dropped down to light heavyweight. “He’s been running guys out of here. Nobody under 175 pounds will spar with him.''

“I’ve sparred with heavyweights who can punch, including Mariusz Wach and Mike Perez, nobody has hit me as hard as Golovkin. His power is out of this world.”

''I spent my summer up in Big Bear training with Gennady Golovkin who is emerging as the most murderous puncher in the boxing. I watched former champions, light heavies, cruisers, and even heavies get sent home.''

    David Imoesiri HW

“The dude can hit, I’m still getting used to it,” said Imoesiri, who like Coyne, is delightfully bright and articulate. “It’s crazy. I sparred with [undefeated WBA heavyweight beltholder] Alexander Povetkin and he never hurt me like this guy.''

“I must have done 50 rounds while in camp with Povetkin and it was three and half weeks before he hit me with something that made me hold on. With Golovkin I was ready to get out of the ring 45 seconds into our first round of sparring. He hit me with two lefts to the body in the identical spot and had me doubled over. I got through it but it’s hard to defend against 6-inch punches with that much pop. He backs me into a corner with just a jab.

“And it seems like he does it effortlessly.”
