All the best to Liam Smith and Terry Flanagan in their world title fights tomorrow. Think Liam is often overlooked compared to his brothers so would be some feat to be the first one of the four to win a world title!

A few decent fights on that card as well, Blackledge v Markham for the Commonwealth Title and Stalker v Evans for the European Title.

Not a bad nights worth of boxing.:deal:bbb

Has there ever been a less deserving pair fight for a world title than Smith and Thompson? No disrespect to Liam, but who has he fought?

    Paul Smith?

If they weren't part of a big boxing family, nobody would care about either Paul or Liam.

    Buzzing for this card.

Stalker to do the business against Evans in what looks like it'll be a cracking fight.

In terms of Liam smith, why not just forget the deserving stuff and hope another brit becomes world champion?

I fancy Catterall (one of best prospects in our country) to win by KO and also hope Flanagan does the business.

    Good night of boxing.

looking forward to this... Catterall is a special talent!
For Stalker it is a definite make or break... fancy him to come through with a points win.

Smith looks to have enough about him to collect the belt - as someone already said he hasn't been in deep, but at the same time he's had excellent sparring and a good pedigree , looks as though Paul Smith may well end up as the only brother to not win a world title all being well..

The main attraction for the night is Blackledge - Markham for me though.. a real trade fight as they call it. we will learn a lot about Blackledge here, as he's only really known for getting blown out against Fielding - which is a shame as he boxed Liam Camerons head off in a non tv fight to win the belt..

Yeah I hear mate, pretty impressive place I visited their not long ago.

I think Stalker still has a lot to come, I know he got beat by Catterall but we are all seeing that that's nothing to be ashamed of.... he is looking a beast.

Lightweight move might be a good thing, I hope he show's his class tomorrow and sets himself up for a few bigger fights. WBO European will give the winner at least a top 15 ranking.

Did you get to train there? It looks amazing.

Craig Evans stepped up in the Scott Cardle fight. He might be more comfortable in the ring. Tomorrow night's card looks very good :hey

Did a bit mate it was just over summer ticking over. Great set up and the food next door is top draw as well. I think MGM will thrive over the next couple of years.

That was a good fight I agree, I rate Evans as well. I just don't think it has all come together at once for Stalker yet and tomorrow might be the night it does.
