I can't tell if this is sarcastic or not ... But I'll take it at face value and agree. Quillen is a huge puncher, and a huge guy who can barely make MW. Floyd and Miguel have never even made MW limit and are 6" shorter than Quillen and Lee. GGG has built a great record, but he has left the genuine threats (Lee, Lemiuex & Quillen) until last. Also anyone know why the GGG vs Lee fight wasn't rescheduled after GGG pulled out for family reasons?
Lee wasnt rescheduled due to timing, Lee had moved on. Quillin was offered 7 figures, but declined. K2 stopped caring about him when he dropped his belt though. We will see what happens with Lee, I am not sure if he has rescheduled his Saunders bout yet or not. Provided GGG beats DL with relative ease, its entirely possible K2 makes a highball offer to scoop up a Lee fight under the assumption that even if Cotto/Canelo agree to fight it wouldnt be until next May at least.
Do you think GGG will beat Lemiuex with ease? I'm really not so sure. Everyone brings up the example of Stevens as an example of a huge puncher when discussing Golovkin vs Lemiuex, Lee etc ... But his KO rate is just over 50% [Lemiuex's is 90%] and he lost to Rosado who Lemiuex wobbled with every shot and dropped. Admittedly Golovkin couldn't drop or wobble Rosado but he still battered him. This fight just seems a couple of levels above anything GGG has faced to date.
I wouldn´t count DL out just yet. Honestly, he looks more like Mike Tyson than GGG. GGG has to use his skills if he wants to win. IMO Lemieux is the second best MW at the moment. 1. GGG 2. Lemieux 3. Canelo 4. Lee 5. Cotto 6. Quillin 7. Jacobs 8. Saunders 9. Eubank jr 10. Rosado And by the way, MW division is very good, one of the best at the moment.
Funny reading about all the long shot MW's who will solve the GGG boogeyman riddle if only given the chance.
A bit disrespectful. Golovkin holds a belt. Lee holds a belt. Lemiuex holds a belt. Let them fight! Golovkin hasn't fought a champion to date.
Then after they fight it will be Eubank Jr or the winner of Quillen/Jacobs or Cotto/Alvarez. It does not end until the fighter in question actually does lose then your/their decade long quest would have been finally been validated.
I cannot post vids yet but have you seen the one where Saunders is argueing with Eubank Jr and tells him that Golovkin could beat "us"/them both on the same night after Jr brings up Golovkin? What happened to that stupid PRINCE poster? He always claimed Eunich Jr would easily KO Golovkin.
I understand where you're coming from [and that is the nature of the sport/any sport] but I don't think it's unreasonable to hope that Golovkin tries to unify belts. At present , Golovkin is a paper champion. He may become an ATG (he's left it late at 34 with a style that takes a lot of punches) but he needs to do a Wlad, Lennox etc and beat the other champions. So far he has beat pretty much the same opposition as Lee or Lemiuex in the same kind of fashion, nothing more or less if we are all honest. Now, it seems they will all face each other. K2 talk about nobody wanting to face GGG, but as far as I can tell Lemiuex and Lee have been chasing him down!!
Both are live dogs against GG. Both guys styles are pretty much counterpunching. That is always good against an aggressive guy.
I think you need help full stop, you vegetable. If you can't recognise vacating your title after being offered a career high purse as a 'duck' I have to question your validity as a poster. In fact you may as well quit.
