I just don't think that he has enough talent - AS A PRO - to have the star power of a Mayweather or Pacquiao. A lot of people who are good in the amateurs go pro and find out that it is not their game. DISCUSS! :bbb
atsch That's exactly the kind of **** I mean. That dude gets pelted by someone like Salido and struggles with some like GRJ, and people still insist on giving this mythical aura of invisibility and prestige that he doesn't deserve. If any former amateur star deserves the kind of hype that Vasyl is getting, it should be Rigo, Beterbiev and Usyk. They take care of business!
Only Rigo out of those 3 deserve that hype...and even at that Rigo needs to fight more guys to prove himself. Beterbiev is a big meh for me. I think he'll be found out sooner rather than later. Usyk looks good...but again, he's a long way away from "making it"
Beterbiev is undoubtedly better than anyone in the light heavyweight division not named Kovalev and still has only less than ten fights. But I can agree with your statement.
Giving boxers legitimate credit for amateur success is like giving boxers credit for sparring stories. So, yes, he's overrated. The Russell Jr. win immediately looks significantly better than when it happened. So that was a good win. It could look better in a short time if Russell continues to (since he was so largely unproven himself)... I'm as big of a Piriyapino fan as you'll find but his resume as a whole just doesn't add up, not a shred, with the way folks talk about him and ludicrously rank him.
talent itself is just a small fraction of the things u need to get to that **** s****om power - i have no idea what u mean... in a matter of secs we can make a list with some very very VERY talented guys and none of them will get close to two dudes you equal boxing with.
No. Are you blind? Dude is one of the most skilled guys in the sport EASILY. He does things that no one else can do. He can look amazing in fights. He has some of the best footwork in the sport, plus he has a fan friendly style.
How many fighters can you name who'd take on a top10 contender in his 3rd pro bout and make it look like a mismatch?
Loma is one of the most skilled guys in the sport today he's the truth. Ain't nothing about him overrated if anything he's underrated:deal
