However there are a lot of power punchers who are technically well rounded that you and many others on this site underrate the hell out of.

    Strictly my opinion.
Underrated - Donaire - you got people who will call him a bum when he's unquestionable one of The best fighter of this generation and arguably all time.

D.Garcia - Has one of the toughest resume been a underdog in all his biggest fight but gets a lot of flack for two close fights. There isn't one fighter in history that doesn't have atleast one decision people think should of went the other way.

Alvarez - similar to Garcia gets a lot of unnecessary flack for the Mayweather loss and close fights with Lara/Trout. But he's one guy who has shown he'll go out of his way to make the best fights and is more skilled than given credit for.

Broner - not as good as his mouth would have you believe but way better than given credit for.

Overrated - Khan - at one point he was a quality fighter but his career in recent years has been a joke yet he's still talked about like he's been fighting world beaters.

Golovkin - this dude is top 5 P4P on some list and has not one remotely P4P quality win.

Lara - gets praised as a great technician but is simply a jab and run fighter, and underwhelms every time he's hit the big stage.

Provodnikov - got hyped for losing to Bradley close and is still considered one of the best JWW based off of losing to the actual best competitively.

I think highly of Lara but I also can vibe with that train of thought.

Couldn't agree more about Donaire. He is literally among a small handful of the very best of the era... "Clever matchmaking," "got lucky," say whatever you want he beat who he beat across all those divisions and the names are high in quality and high in quantity. People just don't like him personally and that doesn't help.

It goes back to what I said earlier. Fighters that are more hated by fans get much less appreciation compared to fighters with equal in-ring merit who are more loved by fans. Boxing fans struggle separating emotion from the equation.

Nonito Donaire for one, not that often but I've seen it a few times on here.
I've seen Manny Pacquiao's skills undersold.
The usual suspects GGG, Kovalev even Carl Froch and Mikkel Kessler are somewhat painted with that brush sometimes, Matthysse is a far better all around Boxer than people give him credit for. Pavlik isn't the caveman most think he is. There's a lot of them.

IMO Sergey Khomitsky is seriously underrated fighter who belongs to same category as Rosado, Stevens, Jabobs etc. He has beaten good fighters like Etches, Buglioni and Moore. Was jobbed against Stieglitz, gave two good fights to Murray.
At the same time, Sturm, Sylvester and Soliman were titleholders..

Hmm you could be right. Hope not though. Kova needs a legit rival

Froch isn't the most skilled but has more than most give him credit for

I think he's legit enough to be a rival for Kovalev, he'd definitely push him farther than anyone else, I just don't happen to see the same intangibles that could make Kovalev great in him.
