I could've told you Golovkin hits harder than the Flushing Flash.

(j/k, I know what you actually meant, just the way you worded it ;)...or rather, under-punctuated it...)

I ask again how does Kovalev know this?

Golovkin's accuracy is what makes the difference. Without accuracy, power doesn't mean a lot. He inflicts enormous overall damage with that accuracy. That's what Kovalev falls behind, not the one punch power.

Punching power means nothing when you frantically duck a boxer, or boxers.

These tales keep coming out, sparring partners, opponents, other top fighters, there must be something in it.

I know lots of rumours and bs flys around but there are just too many people in boxing with good reputations who seemed genuinely surprised or are just amazed by Golovkin's punching power.

Ha, ha you funny man. Now I know you know shut about boxing. If you rae referring that 4th round lucky shot, Golovkin was nowhere near KD, let alone KO.

Either he was just being modest/humble or just plain BSing, I just don't see it.

Yeah okay, he took 11 rounds to get Martin Murray out of there.

Martin Murray would have been blown out in less than 2 by Kovalev and I'm not a Kovalev fan.

Bumluvkin's fans eat up everything given to them, they would probably munch on Bumluvkin's fecal matter if it was presented to them.

exactly, Kovalev has a tendancy to miss his punches, but makes up for it with fantastic timing, GGG just places his punches much better, particularly the left hook to the body, right in between the ribs and liver, takes a lot out his opponents

All of the people in the comments section of the youtube link are putting down GGG saying he's unproven, and praising more unproven guys like Spence, Imam and Crawford. Go figure.
