Roc Nation: GGG's Team Turned Down Ward in 36 Minutes

During the pre fight presser for Mayweather vs Ortiz , Floyd said that Manny Pacquiao was next. But he wasn't and nobody held that to Floyd. Floyd said people contradict themselves its in their nature.

Abe is a blown up middleweight. Beating AA is not something that guarantees you into the HOF.

Ward has fought 3 times in almost 5 years How in the heck can he consider himself worthy to fight GGG let alone a 50/50 fight. He has to fight his way back into the picture first. GGG is a middleweight 160 pounds Everyone
knows he is regarded as the best 160 pound fighter in world today. Only one 160 'er has the cojones to fight him David Lemieux. All the others look the other way. Cotto & Canelo claim they are not true middleweights yet are fighting for the lineal middleweight title. This is ludicrous. The only fair scenario is for the winner of Cotto-Canelo MUST unify next fight by facing GGG. at 160 weight class. After all the winner will be claiming to be the Lineal world middleweight champion wont he?? We all know Pretty in Pink Cotto will never fight GGG should he win but I hope Canelo would have the cojones.

 

It's wise to keep in mind that Ward beat everyone easily in the Super 6 with one arm.
The whole time I thought, why is this guy only using a jab and left hook, doesn't he have a right hand?
As it turned out, Ward's right arm was damaged goods when he fought and beat AA, Kessler, Froch, and Dawson.

Now, with two perfectly good arms, just imagine the Brutal damage he'd inflict on Little g. :smoke

 

Ward said the bad shoulder was his left not the right.

 

It is clearly a 50/50 fight.

Ward would be rightly a huge favourite.

That being said I'd rather see Golovkin attempt to unify the MW division.

Ward has enough names with Jack and DeGale to keep him busy for 3 years or so.

 

Why is Ward so desperate to fight little men?

 

at this point Hopkins is a 52 year old man with nothing more than a name, he does nothing for Golovkin's resume

 

It's pretty clear that Golovkin wants to fight Lemieux and then the Cotto/Canelo winner and unify. If Ward or anybody else thinks that they can get Golovkin a bigger payday than against Cotto, then they need to change their meds.

 

If you remember correctly directly after Mayweather-Ortiz, Floyd started calling Pacquiao out for a fight only to here about the stadium, cut, $$, ect.....from Manny's side.

 

Well technically the offer for 50/50 from Ward was for a fight after Golovkin had beaten Lemieux and the winner of Cotto/Canelo, so Ward wasn't asking for Golovkin to fight him instead of Lemieux and the winner of Cotto/Canelo.

He was simply asking for a 50/50 split after Golovkin had become a PPV attraction, which quite frankly is just as deluded as expecting GGG to fight Ward instead of Cotto or Canelo for the unified middleweight title.

It was a **** offer from Roc Nation, only an idiot would have accepted that deal.
