Klitschko fans seem to be the only group of boxing fans, who can’t actually accept the reality that their favourite fighter lost.

The only way Lewis would have carried on after Vitali would be

    1) Tyson rematch
    2) Wlad stops getting knocked out
    3) Jones stays at HW

Beating a man he had just stopped in 6 was not motivation enough for him.

A year down the line he likely loses to Vitali anyways.

    Absolutely spot on post.

Uncletermite reveals more of his lack of knowledge of boxing with each post.

There would always be enough idiots willing to pay for another Tyson freak show outing, and that was all Lewis was interested in by that stage of his career. An easy nights work beating up Tyson again for another 30 million minimum. Lets not forget Tyson went on until 2005.

Kliturds can cry all they like but that is the reality of the situation. LL was first and foremost a business man, hence him being worth around $140 million today, and not potless like most of his contemporary's.

true dat Foxy, Lewis is a decent and intelligent fella. Got out of the game before it took too much of a toll upon him.

There is no ****ing way Lewis would have taken the Vitali fight on a 10 days notice if he genuinely felt he was a threat.

vitlai wasnt a standout contender then, he was a stand-in! A 90s wbo champ isnt a major player, thats calzaghe level.
