Why couldn't Bowe do to Golota what Lewis and Tyson did?

Its even worse if he said that in 1991 as he was meant to fight Bowe the year later.

You're the one that needs to watch the video's again. It's clear Lewis is talking not about fighting Bowe at all but a response from a journalist of his level of opposition up to 91, his quote had nothing to do with Bowe. And in 91 Lewis opposition was far better than Bowe's he beat Dokes and Mason while Bowe was having 2 fights with Tillery.

It's clear that Bowe was saying they were looking to fight Lewis as early as spring 1994 some 12-15 later on from when that interview take place. So it's clear as day that Bowe had zero interest in fighting Lewis in that time frame yet was accusing Lewis of ducking, that's just ridiculous only someone has illogical as you could see that as proof that Lewis was ducking and not Bowe running for the hills.

Yes Merchant said plenty of negative things about Lewis, said he was unimpressive but he never said he ducked Bowe, it was clear that in his mind that it was Bowe who was ducking Lewis.

 

Because the duck had already happened. Lewis got his WBC belt against Tucker. The fight was not on the table.

Golota didn't quit against the 28 year old Bowe at all. He was ahead on all 3 cards in both fights when the ***** Bowe managed to get him DQ'd both times because the gutless worm couldn't take what he was only too willing to dish out.

He showed his cowardice when he ducked Lewis and only managed to highlight it in the Golota fights. Its as simple as that. He was quite happy in his trilogy of foul filled fights with the comparatively little Holyfield, because he could bully him, but when the much bigger Golota wanted to play along with the dirty stuff, he cryed out. A disgrace to fighting.

You fail to realize Bowe struggled with long jabbers,that is why he was mugged with Golota twiceand why he and Newman avoided Lewis. Bowe decided to fight Dokes instead and he wasn't even in the top 10 at that time,so anything credible to offer here is shut down.


Lewis had agreed to bowes terms when finally frustrated ,everyone knows Newman didn't want the Bowe fight,he played it safe with the much smaller holyfield and did 3 fights with him. In short Bowe and Newman knew they were going to be dumping the belt at the press conference it was all staged to unsure no fight could be possibly made.
