Yeah I looked it up and could not find any record of the fight either. However I have been told by a reliable source Reece beat Ali. I will ask him again and get back to you both. On another note I rate Ali highly and he was unlucky in his exit from the worlds. He was also robbed in the European Championships.

if Mr know it all aka Smoking Man says it never happened then he must be right lol!

It could have easily happened in the youths or juniors, mcfadden is very young himself he's the same age as Ali!

If that Lavezzeri guy is good he should be straight in the squad as Buatsi is useless, another possible example of english bias

Check article in boxing news the criteria to get on gb is not just being the better boxer on the day it's a long term position with boxers signing 4 year contracts.

Lazzerini has been doing really well. He is a strong come forward pressure fighter. When he is a senior he will face grown men who he will not bully as easily. Looking forward to seeing what level he reaches.

Stephen Lavelle after winning the commonwealth silver shoulld have had at least a trial at GB because in his weightclass at heavyweight they have no one

Lavelle won a bronze in the games. He said all along he was turning pro but instead moved down to 81kgs where he was a beaten finalist in the Scottish. I think he will be back up at 91kg next year if he continues boxing.

For everyone saying Buatsim is usless, that statement is a load of ****e, Buatsi is not world class but he is far from useless, he gave La Cruz a great fight the other day and dropped him hard with a left hook, he is improving a lot.
