Collins had a good chin and solid skills. Still, I see Jackson's speed and power advantages guiding him to a late rounds tko.

I agree with Saad. Absorbing punishment, and hoping to frustrate the opponent is a dangerous strategy against The Hawk. Plus, Collins doesn't really have the power to worry Jackson too much. Jackson KO 5.

I think this is close it wouldn't surprise me if Collins wins a close decision.
He took the bombs of Benn, McCallum and Eubank and Jackson wasn't a great boxer if it goes go the late rounds I'd favour Collins he was a strong man.

This fight would be a ride to hell for both, especially Collins...but I think he would win.

Those guys didn't have the punching power Jackson had.

Collins only lost to slick boxers. And I don't recall him ever being knocked down (I could be wrong) Jackson was far from a slick boxer, and I see Collins getting the better of him more times then not.

Collins would probably out-box him with his effective side-to-side movement, awkward fast-released leads at odd times, and decent ring generalship like he did with banger Thornton.

Meanwhile in other news from fantasy island?

In 1997 I went on the pads in Johnny Tocco's gym in Las Vegas with Jackson, and he hit extremely hard, but nothing like as hard as Benn. I can assure you of that.

Eubank put him down, but he was like a Jack in the box, straight back up again, and fully recovered.
