Second round scoring was an absolute joke. But the Uzbek won the first handily and the third could have went either way so we can't have too many complaints.

Yup can't cry robbery was a complete 50-50 fight overalls, with some weird scoring in the 2nd.

We don't want to end up like the brits and ashfaq crying robbery even when he gets battered black and blue lmfao

    That's a 100% accurate perspective ,
1st round - clear Uzbek round
    2nd round - clear o'reilly round
    3rd round - 50-50

I wouldn't cry robbery could have gone either way and it would have been fair. Michael is more than likely qualifed for the olympcis which is great

Spike -CEJ looks like its going ahead. Also Andy v BJS - (the same BJS that said he is willing to bet £10,000 that Spike will ko Eubank).

Good to see the Irish lads get some exposure in the states.
Hopefully we'll see Spike, Ormonde and Hyland getting on televised slots on PBC soon.

Totally agree but in fairnes the judge that gave O reilly all three must be sniffing glue or have a mother from Kerry,
Judging is extremely subjective but is the same for all the boxers,
Good show from O Reilly though and i feel he will beat egypt easily for Rio qualification,
I wonder how many of the qualified will box in the elites next month???

    Barnes
    Conlan

Hopefully O'Reilly and Ward (barring an upset).

Those 4 would be major medal hopes alongside Katie Taylor.

Who else would stand a good chance of making it via the final Olympic qualifying tournaments? (Pending the outcome of the national seniors)

Would love to see Moylette and David Oliver Joyce win their national titles, also maybe Donnelly at 69kg

    A team of:

Barnes, Conlan, Joyce, Moylette, Donnelly, O'Reilly, Ward would be very exciting

I'm not a huge fan of Adam Nolan or Dean Walsh to be brutally honest, ill probably get slaughtered for saying so.

Sean McComb may come again though

McComb v DOJ, Donnelly v Nolan and Moylette v Walsh will be epic at the stadium

    :good:good

Brendan Irvine v Myles Casey/Willie O Donoghue would top off a great finals night in december,

Dont think the qualified lads (i believe we will have 4 by then) will enter TBH but those four finals would be worth admission alone,
