    Alreet lads,

I can freely admit I know very little about European and world boxing.

I tend to focus on the British and Yorkshire lot and don't generally have a clue about anything else.

If I ever have a conversation and someone mentions a boxer not from Britain or someone who is an amateur all I can do is scratch my head and look bemused; Alan Partridge style.

Can any of you recommend books, websites, etc. that I could get into to widen my knowledge and give me more or an informed opinion?

At the minute I generally just look on here and if a local I like has a fight I check him out on Boxrec/ Wiki or something.

    Tah loves.

The internet is the best source of up to date info. Eastside checkhook and the scene all have forums with plenty of info and there is a lot of up to date nees on them. Theres the boxing mags boxing news and monthly.
You can follow fighters promoters trainers and managers on social media. If you swallow hours of the above you will start to imorove your knowledge on the boxing scene. I dont really follow the ams much i do have my lvl 1 am badge but i dont really keep up to date with the fighters. Imo its a different sport Similar to how rugby league is different to union.
Which part of yorkshire are you from im at leeds
