come off it he probably deep down doesn't even class Britain in his top 3 nationalities. He's 1. Canadian 2.Jamaican 3.American 4 British.

He left Britain at a very young age, much younger than Andy Lee did and plenty of people call Andy Lee irish! He probably hardly even remembers living in London.

He learned to Box in Canada
He represented Canada as a boxer, winning Olympic gold for them
    He has a Canadian accent
    etc

He milked being british thing for more money.. and stupid dumb brits wanna call him British lol...

He's a Canadian.. stop talking about him in the British forum :deal

Why are us Brits critical of British people who don't live here?

People from other countries often support their countrymen who may be living somewhere else, yet we try to disown them.

He isn't British, people clutch straws trying to claim him as British. As a Uk man myself I find it embarassing that you try and claim him just because he was successful, if he'd have been a failure he would have been dismissed as Canadian a long time ago and never spoke about on this forum

Technically, doesnt he have dual nationality?

And try not to speak for me. I don't "claim" him because he was successful. I called him British as he has identified himself as such in the past and as far as i know, he owns a British passport.

If Lennox sees himself as having British traits instilled in him because of his time here and being around his family and friends who may be seen as "more" British, then so be it.

Why do you care so much?
