It depends on who your asking, I like Loma he deserves credit for taking on Salido in what his 2nd fight. Bounced back from the loss and schooled Russell, and has scared who people call one of the most avoided in the lower weights Rigo.

It's still early in his pro career he should be more active, and get some more fight's under his belt. Interested to see how his career playsout.

Talented but, given his current accomplishments as a pro, very overrated.

Not at all. I've always quite liked him. I stick it to his fans sometimes but I'm mainly playing most of the time.

No it's even more impressive than that. Not only did he do that but he also went over to Russell's country, a place where he'd already been stitched up something rotten in his previous fight, to do it and the referee and all three judges were from Russell's country too. And despite the fact that he soundly whooped Russell's ass, he nearly got stitched up yet again when one of those judges called it a draw. In fact, the referee and all three judges were from California a place where Russell had fought many times. Nine IIRC. How many fighters would do that?

A lot of people conveniently forget this type of stuff though.

Loma was 1-1 when he fought Russell.

Loma also fought Salido in Texas which was tantamount to a home match for Mexican Salido.

If your only important victory is Gary Russell Jr, and you've lost to Orlando Salido, but people are rating you top 10 p4p in the sport, then you are overrated.

    Salido
    GRJ
    Martinez
    Marriaga
    Walters
    Sosa
    Rigo

11 fights... That is ridiculous! Only blemish was highly questionable & he can get a pass for that... He needs this next win tho to cement a true foothold among today's best.

GGG, Canelo, Crawford, Garcia, Usyk, Kovalev etc they are his peers & this fight would go a long way to being the standout among them!

I have GGG the best right now with Crawford second. I'll review that after Saturday depending on the performance...

Barely post at all, but just had to log in and ask you what's wrong with your brain? That was a completely one sided fight, at no point did he struggle with GRJ. I guess you thought you could sneak that one in and beef up your already under fed argument, but I caught you! Just wanted you to know..

    alright, back to work..
