    No.....Hearns had outstanding punching power and loads off boxing skills..
    David L is a decent boxer with real power, but he,s not a Thomas Hearns

    hell, it's gonna be MUCH better than a street fight. Two guys who are both good (one probably very good) and can punch? Should be a lot of fun

    unlike watching an actual 'street fight' where two meth addicts scr@p in a Taco Bell parking lot over a pair of flip-flops while some dude yells "WORLDSTAR!" in the background

    Hagler and Hearns were far more highly rated at the time. Hagler was rated number 1 by Ring Magazine and Hearns was number 2. Lemieux now is rated 4 by Ring Magazine and 5th by Boxrec.

    Both Hearns and Hagler prior to this fight had been Ring Magazines fighter of the year, Hearns twice. Golovkin has been fighter of the year once, Lemieux has never been rated this highly.

    Lemiuex has 2 losses to nobody remarkable and is making the first defence of his world title which he won in a vacant title shot, while Hearns was a 2 weight world champion with only a loss to Leonard who was highly rated and a future ATG.

    The quality of this match up just isn't comparable to Hagler/Hearns.

    loads of great fighters have had early loses means nothing it can happen to anyone

    Lemiuez actually really lost because of himself he gassed out which was due to inexperience he was rocking rubio with every shot so much so rubio said he was the hardest puncher he faced

    Heck, I thought it was Lemmeister....oh well, i constantly f things up. at this point so many are certain GGG will just blast Lemmy out of there and he might. the potential is there for a real interesting fight though, that is what has most folks interest.

    lol You aren't trying to say that Lemieux is on the level of Hearns when he fought Hagler are you? I know you feel Golovkin is already greater than Hagler. lol
