Much has been made of Deontay repulsively fragile china chin and how every Heavyweight on Planet Earth has a chance to shatter it into a million tiny little shards but in my opinion Anthony Joshua might be packing a similarly heinous mentum, they're neck and neck or should I say chin and chin in that department. So before everyone starts proclaiming Deontay as a glass jawed fraud and AJ from the UK as the second coming of George Foreman let's investigate these two a little closer shall we.

    Is it Deontay?

    Is it Joshua?
Joshua getting stopped by Mihai Nistor with headgear on, Nistor couldn't hurt Usyk without it. He looks like he's about to cry.

Joshua being dropped by the talentless windmilling caveman Dillian Whyte at around 3:00 Minutes in. And given like 20 seconds to recover.

Joshua getting rocked hard quite a few times all throughout Round 3 by Azerbaijani beast Medzhidov, sans headgear Joshua wouldn't have seen the final bell. 11:30 in.

Joshua getting rocked all over the ring in headgear by Erislandy Savon a match he somehow inexplicably won at the Olympics. 2:49:19 in.

Postscript: Since this thread was made, Whyte almost smashed him again in the pros.

Medzhidov would have KO'd Joshua if he had a glass chin, look at some of the people Joshua has fought in the ams. He's got a decent chin.

He was getting closer and closer to a KO, mercifully for AJ he had headgear on and the match was only 3 rounds.

Neither look likely to take the mantle of this generations Oliver McCall but Joshua's chin doesn't seem that bad. He took two huge left hooks from Nistor and stayed upright. His chin clearly isn't iron but they were cracking shots and he got up both times.

He took some hard shots from Medzhidov and never seemed too badly hurt just slightly stunned, he had Medzhidov stunned a few times as well in that fight.

Yes he was dropped by Whyte but it was an early amateur fight and he got straight back up and lasted the distance.

I'm not sure, but I reckon Wlad takes a better punch than both of them.
