If Floyd was more aggressive and attacked half as well as he defended then maybe he would have a shout. He is so defensive it proves painfully boring to watch. Hes the only boxer i can think of who doesnt want to win a fight against a challenger, doesnt want to knock them out, doesnt want to engage other than a couple of jabs and one shot counters before hes on the other side of the ring. I know about the bad hands but it never stopped Calzaghe being very aggressive, throwing lots of low power but fancy eye catching shots. Had Floyd atleast done that, and hes plenty capable, it would of been great. He has taken out of his fights what most boxing fans love about boxing which is watching a fight.
That's my major criticism of him as well. But he's still a great fighter, but if he had that extra fighting spirit that Duran or SRL had he might have been the best I've seen in my lifetime. But absent that, he isn't.
