Not seen many Somaon boxers at all so it's hard to get a gauge how good their punch resistance is really. That said, physically they don't look like the most granite jawed types to me whereas, conversely, Nigerians (Joshua's mumsy is Nigerian) do.
I meant generally they do. Quite a lot of the Nigerians I've known are thick-set and strong looking, whereas that's not the case with many of the Somoans I've seen.
You won't know about the limits of Samoan chins as you need one to be knocked out to determine that point. Go hunting for David Tua KOs and all you'll find is Tua standing and throwing
They are could at taking head butts in wrestling, so a Somaon might be the best style match for Ward.
There's a very large Somoan community in London and none of the ones I've known have ever mentioned anything about wresting to me.
The Rock, Rikishi, Roman Reigns, The Uso's, THe HEadshrinkers, Yokozuna, Rosey & Jamal, Umaga, they have loads, although they all appear to be part of the same family.
