Two limited boxers, both with great power, both known for that aggressive style.

I got Ibeabuchi ,I think hes a bigger lyle and better one.He looks like a faster Bruno to me.i don't think shavers chin is going to like this fight.

Ibeabuchi wasn't even nearly as limited as Shavers.

    Ibeabuchi KO1. Shavers packed glass.

It rather goes against my instincts, but I am picking Ibeabuchi here.

Ibeabuchis chin was iron, that's the difference.

Ike was nothing like Bruno. He was x10 better.

But this is a great match-up in terms of HEAVY hands (I rate Foreman as a harder puncher) vs a GRANITE chin (and believe me, it was granite. You don't trade with DAVID TUA if your whiskers aren't cast iron).

That said, Ike within a few rounds.

Ike's power, output and aggression would overwhelm Ernie. It'd be like Julian Jackson vs G-Man.

Earnie's one of my favorites, but I'd go with Ike.

To be fair, Earnie was far more battle tested, with about four times as many fights.

I'd go with Ike, better chin, but it would be a war for as long as it lasted.

I like Ike by early, one-sided stoppage.

I don't like Shavers at all in this matchup. I'm not one to overrate Ike, but what he brings to the table is all wrong for Shavers.

He gets severly overatted..I watched the Tua fight and thought if Tua had a pulse in that one he would win...

Yeah, I'd love to have seen this fight. Ike Ibeabuchi is probably fav, but Earnie couldn't be totally ruled out with his punch either. Looks like a 5 or 6 round fight, max.

anytime you have two dangerous punchers, only one of them with a solid chin vs another with a shaky one, the former usually takes it.
