Im not saying GGG is Tyson. He's a vastly superior fighter in every department. But when you're in with a guy as explosive and dangerous as Lemieux, it's not unlikely for the upset to happen. This isnt just a limited David Tua against a master Lewis. This is a vastly improved fighter with devastating power who has a great shot at beating any middleweight

Tyson vs Douglas is one of the worst examples of an upset one can come up with regarding GGG vs Lemieux. Tyson brought it on himself by being an undisciplined fighter. He made too many wrong choices related to his career and to his private life. He was also still very young at the time and he didn't really have the experience to know what to do when things go sour.

GGG on the other hand is a highly disciplined fighter and has enormous experience. He has no stamina issues to go the distance in a fight. He doesn't have to rely on his power, he's also a master technician who can go for a points win at any time of the fight. Even if he loses a fight, it will be absolutely nothing like Tyson vs Douglas.

Does he have stamina? He looked pretty exhausted mid rounds in a recent fight

Sure hes a master technician with huge experience. But you know what sort of a figher he is. He brings it. And this is his first PPV. He'll be wanting to make a huge impression. Deliver a BDS. There's no chance in hell a win on the cards will be his gameplan

Lemieux is a live underdog with his power.

and its more than just power. that was curtis stevens. lemuex brings a ton of hell for any middleweight on the planet, the best one included

anyone writing this off as a mismatch is simply a GGG hater who's trying to pre-empt the credit
