    Who had he beaten?
Think you need to check it all out and not look at annual ratings which many make the mistake of doing

The thing I've looked at isn't the thing you think is a mistake at all, how condescendingly arrogant of you to say so without knowing anything of what you are talking about

Pascal was reigning North American champion and fully deserved his shot.

Still bangin on about glass hands Joe being TBE SMW.

I honestly don't know of any serious boxing fans/followers who rate Calzaghe as anything more than a paper champion, who tugged himself silly after beating nobodies.

    Hello mate

Sometimes he likes to apply spin but he's also talks a lot of truth. And you have a crown and throne of your own when it comes to that too. :D

A lot of the stuff you accuse Bailey of doing you're guilty of doing yourself and so are most of those who are batting on the same side as you in these debates.

I know from our chats on here or reading his posts he was actually following the scene back then and not merely Boxrec-ing and pretending to be more knowledgeable about it than he is because I also followed it with a keen eye too

Any you're the total opposite but for some strange reason you seem to think you're not.

And your bias towards Roy goes up to number 11 lol.

Again you do the complete opposite. I find it utterly bewildering that you seem oblivious to it lol.

That's why I have to chime in occasionally carpet bombing the thread with fact bombs. :D

I could do so a lot more if I I could be bothered to. But how long has this all been going on now? Time to move on.

There's always plenty of spin applied, revisionism and key bits of information conveniently omitted in threads like these by the Anti-Calzage brigade. Plenty of it. And often people who don't really know what they're talking about chime in too.

I'm sure he finds it very tedious and tiresome going over the same ground over and over again, arguing the same exhausted old arguments again and again, especially when having to fend off 2,3,4 5 or more ravenous hounds at a go everytime he swings by here and that some of the things you're debating have been debunked or explained numerous times before by him or fellow ESB titans like myself. :D

 I don't care if you are but this has all been argued to death. It's like all those loons on the Classic arguing about Marciano and Dempsey all the time.

I like you Loudon so if ever I come across as being a little snarky don't take it the wrong way. :good

I was a big fan of both these guys - nothing but respect. Carl i think achieved more by way of a better resume.

Calzaghe would dominate Froch - not even close. He was equal in size, blazing hands, iron chin, great footwork, slippery head movement at any distance, and understanding of angles offensively and defensively. Watching froch boxing taylor, kessler 1, the two Andres, and groves doesnt inspire me in any way to doubt a Calzaghe 118-10 UD that provided great action.

@Bailey, you know the next question is ...what is the source of those rankings? Is it a reputable publication? An aphabet org? The source determines the credibility.

Kessler's resume other than Froch is reliant on the likes of Siaca and Sartison. If that is the case, then se should be including Magee and Reid for Froch. Their can be no real debate about whose resume is better.

Reading your previous post, it seems as if you are saying that the likes of Manfredo, Starie, Veit, Sheika, etc were world class fighters. Is that your position?

You hardly give Ward any credit for his win against Kessler, because you always highlight what poor condition Kessler was in. Which is fine, but that was my point. You'll list the negative factors surrounding Kessler, but you won't list the negative factors surrounding Eubank.
