Calling that a bad stoppage means your a sadistic *******... the problem was that David was too tough for his own good and wasn't just going to go down.. he needed protecting from himself.. his corner wasn't going to do it.. and David wasn't going to do it.. it's then the ref's job to protect the fighter.

Good stoppage. If you watched the replay, David dropped down from the body shop and his body language showed he was hurt. It's the spot the ref was waiting for.. for him to be hurt to stop it. That's the right call.

 

"So, you came to back to die with your city?"
"No, I came back to make you a good boy".

 

GGG's English is getting better and better.

 

Did people not see the way David looked at the ref after eating that left hook to the body? It was an excellent stoppage.

 

Canelo win or lose will make GGG a Good Boy!!!

Golovkin fought great but Lemieux deserved better than that. A true warrior. Too bad we had a criminal ref.

Golovkin battered Lemieux nearly as bad as all the British posters batter ellerbe round this forum.

 

GGG is as menacing as Tyson and sounds like Borat, how can anyone call themselves a boxing fan and not like this guy.

 

By the way Lemieux was very close to killing the ref at one point after missing a wide swing and ref happened to be in close proximity.
