I've got a gym session tonight, mainly focusing on leg strength. After my normal leg workout, I was considering a 15/20 minute treadmill walk on a steep incline. Thoughts?
Active recovery/burning fat after using up your glycogen. That's all it's good for. Get your strength from lifting weights.
Lol. True. The gym I train at has an athletics track. For me it's the norm to go out and use it during or after a session. I keep forgetting not everyone has access to the same facilities.
ok maybe so maybe its not great for leg strength, but i'd suspect it's stick good for muscle endurance right?
It seems you're wanting to do this for no real reason in relation to your training. What are you attempting to achieve and why? Once you can answer this question you can decide on what you need to do.
The bodybuilder Steve Reeves used to recommend this for stamina: 100 deep squats with one half your body weight. In other words a 200 pound man squats 100 times with 100 pounds. I never tried it.
